Suicide Terrorism: The Overlooked WMD

This seminar will focus on the suicide terrorist and the organization behind him. It is based on case studies from Israel and around the world, and will include the latest information about methods, equipment, preparations, and techniques.

You will learn:

• Different methods used by Middle Eastern terror networks in employing terror attacks
• Lessons learned and experience gained from recent suicide attacks
• How terrorists operate - why they do it and what can we learn from this
• How terrorist organizations recruit and train suicide bombers; training kids to be terrorists
• Bomb making - how suicide belts are made, how they work, and why they are so dangerous
• How to prevent incidents - which measures work and which don't
• How to respond safely to incidents which may involve secondary attacks
• Incident management - what to do after a suicide attack and how to contain the damage

You will watch Israeli Police footage of actual post-attack scenes and footage captured from terrorists, detailing their intelligence gathering activities. The program will review the threat from its roots to the contemporary situation and will suggest practical methods of dealing with it.
